毫无疑问,21 世纪将是一个新的城市世纪,城镇化作为研究热点同时也是
一个社会经济发展过程。2002-2011 年间,我国城镇化率以平均每年 个百
分点的速度高速发展。2012 年我国城镇化率已达到 %。中国的城镇化进程
进入到加速发展阶段。这个历史变革不仅在于人们如何生活,而且在于他们生活
在哪里。城镇化是人口向城镇集聚的过程,也被国家看成是现代化的重要标志。
把目光投向中国的西部地区,六普显示甘肃省的城镇化水平为 %。现
实是中国西部地区的城镇化水平严重滞后于中国的平均水平和中、东部地区,而
且关于甘肃省城镇化动力机制的研究较少。因此,本文试图通过探索城镇化的动
力机制,来分析影响甘肃城镇化动力机制的因素,以促进甘肃省城镇化的快速发
展。
本文在研究国内外城镇化相关理论和方法的基础上,首先对城市和城镇化的
概念进行了界定,而后在理论基础上总结出城镇化的一般理论,最终指出中国城
镇化的具体内涵在于增长动力的转型和人口的城市化。然后分析甘肃省城镇化现
状,并提出甘肃省在城镇化过程中存在的主要问题。本研究采用定性与定量、规
范与实证相结合的研究方法,对甘肃省城镇化动力机制的相关影响因素进行研
究。本文借鉴国内外学者对城镇化动力机制的研究成果,从人均 GDP、产业结构、
社会固定资产投资额、教育水平、财政支出等方面选择影响西部地区城镇化动力
机制的因子。利用计量经济学方法对数据进行分析,通过相关分析并结合甘肃省
的城镇化现状和存在的主要问题,提出相应的对策建议。

ABSTRACT
There is no doubt that the 21st century will be a new century, the city as a
research hotspot of urbanization is also a process of social and economic development.
From 2002 to 2011, China's urbanization rate at a rate of % per year on average.
China's urbanization rate has reached % in 2012. China entered the stage of
accelerated development of the urbanization process. This historical change not only
lies in how people live, and where is their life. Urbanization is a process of population
to the urban agglomeration, but also by the state as an important symbol of
modernization.
Looking to China's western region, six shows Gansu province's urbanization
level is %. The reality is that China lags far behind of the urbanization level of
China's western regions and the eastern region, the average, and less research on
